The Brazos County Sheriff's office continues to investigate the shooting death of a miniature horse by an off-duty police officer.
Sheriff Chris Kirk said Monday, they will finish presenting details to the District Attorney's office on Tuesday.
It will then be up to prosecutors to determine if any charges will be filed.
The shooting happened Friday night in northeast Brazos County off Old Bundick Road. According to the sheriff's office, Officer Damian Anderson claimed the neighbor's horse had gotten on to his property and was injuring his livestock. That's when Anderson reportedly fired at the animal, killing it.
