A man driving a fuel tanker was killed in a fiery wreck near downtown Dallas when his truck struck a car on the side of the freeway.
The accident happened Sunday morning. Thirty-seven-year-old Charles Luckey of Garland died.
The tanker was been carrying gasoline, causing it to ignite along with the car. The truck veered off Interstate 30 and some of the gasoline it was carrying leaked into the septic system.
Interstate 30 was temporarily closed while the wreckage was cleared.
Police at the scene said they didn't think anyone was in the abandoned car when it was hit.
