A Pflugerville-area woman condemned over the 1994 slaying of a boy she was babysitting faces execution April 18th.
A judge in Austin set the execution date for 49-year-old Cathy Lynn Henderson.
The body of three-month-old Brandon Baugh was found in a wine cooler carton and buried in a field outside Temple.
The discovery came nearly three weeks after the child was first reported missing.
Prosecutors say Henderson smashed the child's head with a blunt object while she was watching him and his older sister.
Henderson was arrested in Independence, Missouri.
The FBI says Henderson gave several stories before finally saying the boy fell from her arms while she was answering the phone -- and hit his head on the floor.
A medical examiner determined that wasn't possible because of the severity of the fatal injuries.
