Monday Aggie students invited Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee to talk diversity with both the administration and the student body.
She talked to the administration about making changes in things like the Aggie code of honor, and in the student orientation to help put out a stronger message of diversity.
Lee added A&M is a great school, but she encourages students and teachers to look for ways to be better when it comes to issues of diversity.
