Local Organizations Give Thanks to Agriculture Industry

Thanksgiving came early Tuesday morning for local residents involved in the agriculture industry.

The Taste of the Brazos Membership Breakfast was held at the Brazos Center for those who grow, produce, and sell agricultural products to the Brazos Valley.

All food products at the breakfast were locally grown and/or produced.
The products were also contributed by local growers and suppliers.

The breakfast was a way to educate the public on how little farmers make financially to grow the food we consume.
A video, created by Producers Cooperative, stressed the importance of supporting agriculture in our community.

The breakfast was hosted by the Chamber's Agribusiness Council, and featured James "Jim" Hull, Director of the Texas Forest Service and State Forester.
