Brenham High School hosted their annual blood drive Tuesday.
For the past 27 years, the school has worked with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and have one of the region's most successful drives.
Students and faculty lined up to give blood to make the drive a success.
Coordinators hoped to have at least 400 units of blood donated.
At the end of the drive on Tuesday evening, they had met their goal and went a little over.
In additional to the blood drive the Brenham High School also hosted a Thanksgiving Meal.
Fifteen turkeys, 100 pounds of sausage, and all the trimmings were served to donors to thank them for giving the gift of love.
