Gladness turns to grief in the blink of an eye Monday morning for a 9-year old boy and his grandpa.
New Waverly resident John Little, 66, and his grandson were getting ready for some fishing on Lake Conroe. Texas Game Wardens say Little backed his boat and trailer down the Cagle boat ramp at the Northern end of the lake. When he did, the boat came loose and drifted about 25 yards offshore. Little jumped in the water to retrieve it, but instead went under and did not resurface.
His body was recovered by a dive team a short time later. It will be taken to Dallas for an autopsy.

My thoughts and prayers for the family. We never know what God has in store for us each day. When it is all said and done my prayer is that you have prepared spiritually for eternity....we will all experience death one day unless the Lord returns.
