An 18-year-old Franklin man spent his Thanksgiving holiday behind bars. When College Station Police pulled Jacody Peel over early Thursday, they spotted a shotgun on the floor boards on his truck.

According to investigators, they pulled Peel out of his truck and inspected it. Inside, they found a revolver and pair of brass knuckles.

There was also an unlocked gun case in the truck. When they opened it officers say they found 19 grams of methamphetamine, scales and small baggies.

Peel is charged with possesion of a controlled substance, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and possession of a prohibited weapon. His bond was set at $3,500.
