Brenham Choir Headed to Grand Ol' Opry
An elite choir group from Brenham will be taking a trip of a lifetime this weekend.

An elite choir group from Brenham will be taking a trip of a lifetime this weekend.
The Brenham Children's Choir will be heading to Tennessee on Saturday as part of a concert tour.
For the next week, about 30 youngsters will make the trip to sing at area churches, perform at Fort Campbell for the troops, as well as sing at the Grand Ol' Opry.
"There is just an amazing thing that happens when you sing together, because you're joining a part of yourself. It's like unifying your soul," artistic director Pam Bennett said. "We're going to go and meet people we haven't known before and do that with them. I hope our kids come back realizing music brings people together."
Washington County favorite Blue Bell Creameries helped make the trip a possibility.
The group does a summer concert tour every other year.
