BRYAN -- The Texas Aggie football team is headed to San Diego to take on California in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl on December 28.
A&M wrapped up a 9-3 regular season after a 12-7 upset of 11th-ranked Texas last week in Austin.
This year will mark just the second time the Aggies have played in the Holiday Bowl. Back in 1990, Texas A&M beat BYU, 65-14.
It is also Cal's second trip to the game. They fell to Texas Tech in 1994, 45-31.
The Big XII has had a representative in the Holiday Bowl since 1995. The game itself began in 1978.
