The Texas A&M System Board of Regents are getting ready for two days of meetings.
Thursday, the board will meet behind closed doors on the main A&M campus. Then on Friday, Regents will discuss their agenda from Prairie View A&M.
Among the items of discussion will be the A&M Health Science Center's potential location. A number of sites have been discussed, and the city of Bryan has made a notable push to be the home to the facility.
Also, the Regents will talk about future renovations to the Memorial Student Center. The last major renovations in the MSC and University Center complex took place in the early 1990s.
These meetings will also mark the first with new chancellor Michael McKinney. The Centerville native replaces the retiring Bob McTeer.
