After walking out of his parents' home Friday night, no one has seen or heard from Wade Whited.
Wade's father, James, says he thought his son was heading to the family vegetable stand when he left the house Friday night.
But a short while later he went to the stand and Wade was not there. After asking neighbors, he says no one saw which way Wade went.
Officials now say Whited may be headed for Louisiana. He is apparently wanted on a warrant for burglary.
James says Wade was only carrying eight dollars and pack of cigarettes. Wade recently lost most of his possessions, including his wallet, in a trailer fire.
To complicate the matter, Wade is schizophrenic and needs medication to control the symptoms.
He is described as six feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with blonde hair and a beard.
Wade was last seen in a gold long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
