Bryan authorities are still trying to piece together a puzzling set of statements over a stabbing Thursday evening.
Just before 8 p.m., authorities were called to the Emerald Park Apartments off Rebecca Street where Margie Wallace had been stabbed twice. Witnesses say Wallace, 24, was then forced into a car by the suspected stabber and driven away.
It turns out Wallace was actually still at the scene. Her injuries are described as superficial only. Authorities say the stories of Wallace and the witnesses are not matching up.
What is known is that a suspect is still being sought by authorities, who do say they know who they are looking for. The name of that person is not being released, but he is not considered dangerous.
