A portion of Highway 6 has reopened following an accident in Robertson County on Highway 6 in front of the RV Center closed both southbound lanes.
Traffic was down to one lane in each direction on the northbound side. DPS officials say the driver of an HEB truck fell asleep at the wheel and veered off the road. That is when the driver overcorrected causing his truck to flip over. A mail truck then struck the semi.
The driver of the HEB truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The mail truck driver was not hurt.
