About one hundred Brazos Valley soldiers who have been deployed since late 2005 are coming home.
Members of the Texas Army National Guard the soldiers have been stationed in Kosovo carrying out security missions.
The team arrived along with 1700 others to Fort Hood on Friday. After completing the debrief process the Bryan based soldiers will come home on Sunday, December 11.
The entire community is invited out to help welcome them back to Aggieland by coming out to the Welcome Home Parade.
The parade starts at 2 pm in the parking lot at the College Station Wal-Mart. The route will continue down Texas Avenue over Coulter and eventually end at Texas National Guard Armory on East 25th Street.
Everyone is encouraged to bring signs and banners to show their support for the troops.
