College Station and Bryan's finest took to the baseball field to show support.
The College Station Fire Department hosted a benefit baseball game for Lance Norwood on Saturday at Southwood Athletic Park.
Norwood, a veteran firefighter and paramedic of College Station of more than 16 years, recently discovered his cancer relapsed.
Fellow firefighters from College Station put on the benefit to help offset some of Norwood's medical costs.
Members of the Bryan Fire Department and Bryan Police Department also came in huge numbers to support their brother in service.
Despite currently undergoing chemotherapy, Norwood was able to attend the benefit game.
"A lot of work went into something like this," Norwood said. "These people are here for me. It just really touches me."
All proceeds raised through food and concessions goes directly to the Lance Norwood Cancer Fund.
