EDGEWATER, Md. (AP) - Authorities have identified the two Texans
who died in a small plane crash Saturday in Edgewater.
They are Timothy Kramer of College Station and Deborah Giant of Bryan.
The single-engine Cessna 210 crashed about 6 p.m., Saturday, during an approach to Lee Airport outside of Annapolis.
The plane left College Station and stopped in Tennessee to refuel. Federal investigators say the plane clipped trees on its approach to the airport and crashed about 100 yards shy of the runway.
No fire was reported.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the plane was registered to DDT Aero Incorporated, of College Station.
Kramer, 49, is listed as an assistant civil engineering professor at Texas A&M University.
Giant, 50, was employed by State Bank.
Funeral arrangements for both are pending.
