Consumer Reports says tests it ran show that, on average, there's no correlation between the price of a wrinkle cream and its effectiveness. Furthermore, the magazine says the products made little difference in the skin's appearance.
Olay Regenerist, which sells for about 19 dollars in drugstores, was the top performer by a small margin. Lancome Paris Renergie, which sells for 176 dollars, performed nearly as well while La Prairie Cellular at 335 dollars an ounce was among the least effective.
