Navasota Residents will have another chance to voice their concerns about a potential residential treatment center in Grimes County.
A public hearing is set for Thursday, December 14 from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Navasota Center at 101 Stadium Drive in Navasota.
In November dozens of Grimes County residents attended the first public hearing in the house already purchased by Gardener's Kids Center as the home for up to 22 at risk boys ages 9 to 17.
A license has not been issued by the state for the center to officially open, and many Navasota residents hope it stays that way.
Their big concern is the toll that many special needs boys would have on the Navasota Independent School District.
