Bryan's rampant robberies at convenience stores back in October have forced the city to make changes to their surveillance camera requirements.
Among the changes approved by the council Tuesday night was that images must be able to be viewed on demand and transferred to a removable media device. There is also a minimum resolution that the images must be recorded at.
Convenience stores were notified of the potential changes a few months back.
Seven stores in all were robbed in October. An arrest was made in connection with at least one of the robberies.
