Early Saturday morning three teenagers lost their lives in an accident on Highway 36 near Brenham at Big Sandy Creek.
Around 12:30 a.m. Riley Key, of Ledbetter, was traveling south on Highway 36 when he swerved his pickup truck and then over-corrected.
The 18-year old then lost control, striking a guardrail, which caused the Chevy to roll several times.
The truck eventually came to rest upside down in the creek.
18-year-old Thomas Wolz and 19-year old Ethan Sebesta were also in the truck.
DPS says all three teenagers died on scene. Both Wolz and Sebesta were from Caldwell.
According to DPS, Key and Sebesta were wearing seatbelts, but Wolz was not.
Caldwell native Christopher Jackson,15, was also in the vehicle just before it crashed, but managed to escape.
DPS says Jackson was taken to Trinity Medical Center in Brenham suffering from minor abrasions. Jackson was treated and released Saturday morning.
Brenham DPS is handling the accident which is still under investigation.
Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings is handling services for Key. A prayer service has been scheduled for Sunday at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine. The service will begin at 7 p.m. A grave site service at Dube Family Cemetery near Giddings has been scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m.
Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell is handling services for Sebesta and Wolz. Locations and times for their services are still pending.

Ethan Sebesta was my baby brother. I loved him with all my heart. I will always remember him and I am sad that we won't get to go hunting or fishing or haul cattle together anymore. I will always have our memories, like last christmas when we were dancing in the living room. I miss you always aggravating me, always kissing me on my cheeks and you and austin holding me down and tickeling me. Or when we were wrestling in the house and almost broke moms mirror, and daddy came out yelling at us..or that time when we were fighting and you went and jumped on top of my car..and dinted it in..the dint is still there :) Ryan loves you too Ethan. This is very hard for us, we keep waiting for you to just show up at the house and say "got all yall". I know your in a better place but life isn't fair, it shouldnt of been you young boys. Watch over all of us here bubba, I love you very much the mostest :)
