A family member and I were there today in the line of cars waiting for the road to clear. We were headed home to Bryan. I called my husband on my cell phone and had him look up on google maps a short cut back to Bryan by using a road that was off Hwy 6. He directed me back home over the cell phone. I felt sorry for everyone who didn't know about the detour. Before I thought to call my husband, we had waited about a half an hour in a car without air conditioning and the it was 106 degrees. Of course, my ultimate concern was with the people involved in the wreck. Can you imagine being in a wreck like that in that kind of heat? I felt so bad for those involved in the wreck. I'm glad to hear that no one had serious injuries.
