Thursday was moving day for Twin City Mission. After more than 45 years at its Downtown Bryan location, the organization is moving to a new facility on Randolph Street.
Staff is going first so it can prepare the new home for the clients who will follow on July 13. "This is a new home for the clients of the mission but also for the future clients, those that we don't even know yet," said Ron Crozier, Twin City Mission. "They're going to need the services we offer and are going to have a facility to come to."
Local moving company, Wildkat Movers, volunteered its services for free to Twin City Mission.

Kudos to all of the TAMU student volunteers and to Wildkat Movers for dedicating your time, assets and braving the intense heat for such a noble cause. May God bless each and everyone of you for your services. As far as the comment from "Not on Randolph Street, your comment was just plain "MEAN". The Twin City Mission provides an invaluable service to our community. Even good people get down on their luck and may need assistance to get back on their feet. I do know and understand that there are those among us that will never change and will always be alcoholics and/or drug addicts with no ambition to improve their lives. That is the sad part of this, but it's also a fact of life.

Wow! This will really help property values on Randolph street. Don't you wish you owned a lot of property in that part of town?
