Early morning severe weather has moved east of the Brazos Valley, taking the damaging wind and tornado threat out of the area as well. While the severe weather threat has passed, we'll need to monitor areas of minor flooding and down tree limbs on area roads. A tornado watch remains in place for most of the area -- however, that should be canceled by the National Weather Service shortly.
An argument over a car accident landed a Brenham man in the hospital and a teenager in trouble.
Police say the two tangled in a Wal Mart parking lot over the weekend.
During the altercation, 21-year old James Holland was stabbed several times. Holland was hospitalized at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
The 16-year-old was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transferred to a Rockdale Juvenile Detention Center.
