Bush Library Mourns the Loss of President Ford

By  |

The George Bush Presidential Library is honoring the life of former President Gerald Ford.

In memory of Ford a memorial has been set up in the museum rotunda.

The public is invited to write their condolences on a large scroll, that will be sent to the Ford family.

For security reasons gifts or memorabilia will not be accepted.

President Ford's family requests that contributions be made to the Gerald R. Ford Foundation Memorial Fund.

This request includes donations in lieu of flowers.

Information about the memorial contributions and the way you can send a message of condolence to the Ford family can be found at www.geraldfordmemorial.com.

The memorial will be available during normal museum hours beginning Friday, December 29 and will remain open throughout the 30 days of national mourning.

The museum at the George Bush Presidential Library hours are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 until 5 p.m.
