An apparent dispute over late rent in Brazos County may have made one woman mad enough to try and knock her tenant's block off with a block.
Debra Mackey was arrested late Tuesday night after fleeing her FM 974 residence. Authorities believe Mackey got into a heated exchange with a man staying with her when she reportedly tossed a cinder block at him. Mackey is then accused of stabbing him in the back with a knife, though the injury was only superficial.
The tenant was treated and released at St. Joseph.
Mackey is out of Brazos County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon on $20,000 bond and faces aggravated assault charges.
