Early morning severe weather has moved east of the Brazos Valley, taking the damaging wind and tornado threat out of the area as well. While the severe weather threat has passed, we'll need to monitor areas of minor flooding and down tree limbs on area roads. A tornado watch remains in place for most of the area -- however, that should be canceled by the National Weather Service shortly.
A pair suspected in a weekend murder in Montgomery County now face capital murder charges.
Danny Spence, 27, and Erin Quigley,19, were arrested in Houston hours after police found the body of 21-year-old Travis Zielenski in his Woodlands Apartment.
The pair were found in the victim's stolen truck.
An autopsy lists "neck compression" as the cause of Zielenski's death.
Spence and Quigley were initially charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
