An arrest has been made in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred outside a Bryan business on Tuesday.
20-year-old Simon Garay was arrested Wednesday and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, after police said he stabbed a man outside of Kent Moore Cabinets.
The victim, Joe Galvan Jr. was treated for non life threatening injuries at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
According to police, both men, who knew each other, were applying for jobs at Kent Moore Cabinets.
The two men went outside where a confrontation ensued, said police.
According to authorities, Garay pulled a knife and stabbed Galvan once on his right side.
Garay fled the scene, but officers obtained a warrant for his arrest late Wednesday night, said police.
If convicted, Garay could face up to twenty years in prison and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
