Gunshot Wound Cause of Death in Conroe Mystery

There are still a lot of unknowns surrounding Tuesday's discovery of a body in Conroe. But there's one thing that's now crystal clear: it was a murder.

Autopsy results released Wednesday show the victim died of a gunshot wound to the head. The deceased is a white male, 5'7" weighing 180 pounds. He has dark hair and is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s.

The body was found in the area of Coon Hollow near Massey Road in Conroe. Sheriff investigators think the murder occurred over the weekend.
