The cold weather has had an affect on everyone in the Brazos Valley, especially the homeless.
The Twin City Mission has seen an influx at the shelter of people trying to escape the cold, brisk temperatures.
Officials at the mission said they have spent the last 48 hours looking for the homeless to get them out of the winter elements.
"We've got the facilities and we've got the mattresses and space available. What we don't have are blankets and heavy coats. And that's what we're looking for right now," said Ron Crozier of Twin City Missions.
Twin City Mission officials are asking anyone who has extra blankets or coats available to please drop them off by their office located at 500 N. Main in Bryan.
