Robertson County Sheriff's deputies are trying to track down a robber who held-up two female convenience store employees at gunpoint, getting away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbery happened at the Oak Grove Convenience Store about 4 miles north of Franklin, around 5 o'clock Wednesday morning.

Employees have told authorities they dialed 911, after the man left the store with the money.

Sheriff Gerald Yezak says the robber entered the store demanding cash and displayed a small chrome-plated, semi-automatic handgun.

During the robbery no shots were fired and nobody was injured.

The robbery suspect is described as a slender-built black man, between 5'8 and 5'9 and was wearing dark clothing, gloves and a stocking over his head.

If anyone has any information about this armed robbery, you can call the Robertson County Sheriff's Department at 979-828-3299.

Yep - 4 mile has a real name - Oak Grovve. I didn't know its real name either for many years. For those of you that aren't from Robertson County, it's called 4 mile b/c Franklin is dry and this is the closest store to get beer and it is ... you guessed it! 4 MILES outside of Franklin!
