A confrontation outside a Bryan apartment complex led to a shooting and an apparent suicide attempt.
Police responded to a call of shots fired at the Reveille Ranch Apartments around noon Monday. Just after their arrival, they heard a shot from an apartment, where a 22-year-old male had apparently shot himself in the head.
At last report, that person was alive and receiving treatment at St. Joseph.
Authorities later learned a 19-year-old had been shot in the wrist, allegedly by that same 22-year-old. That person has been treated and released from St. Joseph.
Police say there were other people nearby when the first shooting happened, but no one else was injured.
