The Twin City Mission and Texas A&M University are teaming up for a semester long project.

Students with the College of Architecture, will be working with the mission to create designs for the new homeless shelter.

Monday afternoon, the students were able to tour both the existing shelter's facilities and the new property.

Students will then have about a month to create a presentation of their design which will be showcased in February.

"When they see where we are today, with the cramped out of date facility that we have, it will help them in their conceptions of what they will think the future facility will look like," said Ron Crozier of Twin City Missions.

One of the students designs may be chosen for the new Twin City Missions homeless shelter.
