A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect until midnight for Lee County. Strong thunderstorms will continue to be possible, across the Brazos Valley, this evening. Winds in excess of 40-60mph are the main concern, within the strongest activity.Heavy rainfall between 1" and 3" has the potential to cause localized flash flooding in a few locations.
An early Monday morning accident in Robertson County left two people dead.
The accident happened on FM 46 South between Franklin and Wheelock.
The Department of Public Safety says the driver was speeding around a curve, then lost control and rolled several times.
Neither of the occupants, a man and woman who's names are not being released at this time, were not wearing seatbelts. DPS says both were ejected and died at the scene.
