A Texas A&M University System school is at the center of a growing controversy. Tarleton State University in Stephenville is receiving national attention over an off-campus party on MLK Day.
Attendees came dressed in costumes typifying black stereotypes. Fried chicken an 40 oz. beers were part of the party menu. University officials say an investigation of the event is already underway. More than 400 students attended a university forum Wednesday night aimed at bridging a racial divide at the school.
