One of Bryan-College Station yearly highlights took place tonight.

The OPAS Guild's Gala 2007 was held at the Hilton.

The night was filled with champagne, dinner, and a silent auction.

Providing the musical entertainment was 70s supergroup Blood, Sweat, and Tears along with former Three Dog Night lead singer Chuck Negron.

Tonight's gala contributes a major part to the Guild's yearly fundraising efforts.

Jim Burke of the OPAS Guild said Supporters the events of Saturday night will help keep the arts alive locally.

"We have programs that help teachers teach arts in their classrooms and Camp OPAS. We have all kinds of wonderful things,' Burke said.

The OPAS Guild was formed back in 1973 to be a support group for MSC OPAS.
