Early morning severe weather has moved east of the Brazos Valley, taking the damaging wind and tornado threat out of the area as well. While the severe weather threat has passed, we'll need to monitor areas of minor flooding and down tree limbs on area roads. A tornado watch remains in place for most of the area -- however, that should be canceled by the National Weather Service shortly.
Bryan and College Station investigators jailed a pair of Bryan residents after finding a substantial amount of drugs and cash.
As part of an on-going investigation, authorities executed a search warrant around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of West 17th Street, where Felipe Oliva Jr and Rachel Charles were at the time. Authorities say the search turned up two ounces of cocaine with a street value of $3,370, as well as $4,600 in US currency.
Oliva and Charles were taken into custody, both charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, which is a first degree felony.
College Station police say additional arrests are possible in this investigation.
