Two days of meetings for the Texas A&M System Board of Regents begin Thursday. Most, if not all action will be taken during Friday's open session.
Negotiations on the new campus for A&M-San Antonio will be a main topic of discussion, which could include authorization to begin negotiation with the city for acquisition of a site for the campus.
Also, renovations of the MSC and Rudder Complex will be on the table. It would be just the third major renovation in the facility's history.
Former President Robert Gates could earn emeritus status by the end of these meetings if approved by the regents. (Read More Here)
Also, a report on the recent investigation into TEEX could reach the Regents' desks. Director Robert Smith has been on paid administrative leave since the review began in November.
