His alleged involvement in a Grimes County bank robbery has landed a Huntsville man behind bars.

Billy Wyatt, 29, is charged with aggravated robbery and is being held on $100,000 bond.

Authorities believe he was an accomplice in Monday's heist at First National Bank of Anderson. Wyatt was pulled over in Huntsville after an officer noticed his vehicle matched one seen near the bank at the time of the robbery. Wyatt allegedly had a large amount of cash on him, matching the bills taken.

Authorities are still looking for this man who held up the bank. The man is described as a 6 foot, black male with a medium build. He was wearing a yellow traffic vest, a blue ball cap and had a beard.

If you have any information call the Grimes County Sheriff's Office at 936-873-2151.

We will bring more information on this story as it becomes available.

"focus of LE is to find and arrest the suspects. As evidenced by the tape....It Is What It Is! If the man had been white, yellow, brown, blue, red, purple or whatever color, LE would still be working just as diligently in finding and arresting the suspect." I second that; some years ago, without explanation I was stopped, cuffed, and driven 3 blocks to a store where a clerk told the cops "Not the guy". I didn't learn till the evening News that a "Tall white male in his early 20s wearing blue jeans and t shirt" had robbed the place at knifepoint. But since I was 6 1, 22, white, wearing bluejeans and a t shirt and carrying a bag from the same shopping center (walking home with groceries)... and I don't fault them for not telling me WHY (although I did at the time); now I understand that they were watching me and trying to see if I had "guilty knowledge" when the clerk came out.

KBTX - is you let a post get in you should leave it up. When you remove one that's sparked debate it confuses some who read that debate after it's removed.
