5:48 PM Just doing some cosmetic updating here. We've had an email concerning rainfall totals, so I thought I'd give a quick run down as of this time. Remember, we rely heavily on our viewers for this information!

4:46 PM Scattered showers remain throughout the area, but are very isolated in nature. Nothing threatening at this exact moment, but it's weather so I'll keep an eye on it the rest of the evening.
Blake Mathews
4:32 PM All warnings for the immediate area have been canceled. There are storms in progress across the area, but have dropped or remained below severe limits.

3:59 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Robertson County until 4:45 PM.
Blake Mathews
3:56 PM: A warning continues on the storm pushing into parts of Grimes, Madison and Brazos County. The bulk of the storm actually looks to be pushing into Robertson County. I wouldn't be surprised to see a warning issued for Robertson shortly. I'll have another update shortly.
Blake Mathews
3:37 PM: A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for western Madison county, northwestern Grimes county and northern Brazos County, NOT including the city of Bryan, until 4:15 PM.
The storm in southern Brazos county that prompted a warning earlier has weakened substantially. The warning should be allowed to expire shortly.
Blake Mathews
3:18 PM The warning for Houston county is still in progress but the storm is showing signs of decaying just a bit. However the Brazos Valley remains in a very unstable environment and re-intensification of these storms is possible.
The storm that prompted the warning for Brazos and Grimes counties is also holding its own and it appears as though it will pass by BCS to the south...just by a hair. Folks in Wellborn may get some heavy rainfall in the next 15 or 20 minutes if the storm holds together.
Blake Mathews
2:59 PM: We're watching a couple of severe thunderstorms this afternoon as seen below. However there are also other strong storms in progress over Centerville currently. This storm is not severe. We are monitoring the National Weather Service for the latest.
Blake Mathews
2:49 PM: A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Houston county until 3:30 p.m.
2:45 PM: A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Brazos and Grimes counties until 3:45 p.m.
Rodney Harris
2:15 PM: A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Grimes, Montgomery and Walker counties until 2:45 p.m.
Rodney Harris
1:27 PM: I have increased the rain chances to match recent trends across the Brazos Valley. There is a 40% chance of storms for Bryan/College Station through the remainder of the afternoon with higher chances the further east you travel.
