Second Huntsville Murder Suspect Commits Suicide

A second murder suspect in the shooting of a Huntsville man is dead, apparently by his own hand.

Houston Police tried to serve a warrant early Saturday morning on John Kizzee, 48.

As SWAT team members closed in on Kizzee's apartment, they say they heard a muffled shot inside.

Police later found Kizzee dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Investigators learned of Kizzee through his nephew, Jaffrey Kizzee, 28.

Both are suspects in the Thursday night shooting of Jason Ross, 21, of Huntsville.

Police say Ross was shot to death as he tried to flee the scene of an argument.

It's not clear what charges, if any, Jaffrey Kizzee may still face.
