After a few weeks of waiting, the winners of a Martin Luther King Contest were finally announced.
Members of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority conducted a poster and essay contest in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.
The names of the winners were to be made public back on January 15th, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but due to such a great response organizers had to postpone their selections to go through all of the entries.
More than 70 people participated in this year's event and winners received cash prizes ranging from $20 to $100 dollars.
The posters were displayed at the Brazos Valley African-American Museum.
