The American Red Cross was at Bryan High School collecting blood Wednesday afternoon, working to replenish some local hospital's blood supply.
Officials say the supply was depleted after an ice storm blasted through the Brazos Valley last month.
The goal of the blood drive was to reach 200 units. Red Cross officials said they came in a little short, reaching 155 units.
To help the Red Cross reach their goal, donations can still be made by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to schedule an appointment.
