Changes continue to be made to Brenham's proposed stricter smoking ordinance.
Following input from last week's city council meeting, a sixth draft of the ordinance has been created. It was rewritten to allow smoking in workplaces not frequented by the public, including manufacturing and industrial sites.
But all public places would remain smoke-free if the ordinance were to be passed.
The city council will see this latest revision at their next meeting in two weeks, but are not expected to vote on it.
