A posse for public service made its way to the Brazos Valley.

About 70 mounted riders of the Mounted Posse rode to the Bush Presidential Library to present the community with proclamations of the upcoming Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The members of the posse are young volunteers dedicated to public service by bringing Western horsemanship and entertainment to people at parades and rodeos.

The group is made up of members of the Harris County Sheriff's Junior Posse, Texas A&M Corp of Cadets, and Parsons Calvary Unit.
