Revenge is a possible motive behind an attack that has landed a College Station man in a Harris County jail. Authorities there believe Labrandon Searcy,22, travelled to the Houston area to settle an old score with a ex-girlfriend.
On Wednesday afternoon, Searcy was arrested by Harris County deputies from the constables offices after receiving a tip. He was wanted for allegedly assaulting his ex and stealing her car.
But Searcy is also wanted in College Station on a similar assault charge against the same woman. Investigators said a local warrant was issued for Searcy following an incident last year in which he is accused of beating the woman with a hammer.
There is no word yet, on whether bond has been set in Harris County. But if and when it is, Searcy would be brought back to College Station to face charges here.
