One last round of rain & thunderstorms is moving through the Brazos Valley tonight -- along and ahead of an approaching cold front. Winds upwards of 40mph will be possible along & ahead of this activity. The winds subside once the rain begins, however, a quick 0.25" of an inch of rain is possible and dime size hail cannot be ruled out. These storms should be south of the Brazos Valley by 2am.
Fire officials are trying to determine what caused a fire that ripped through a Huntsville apartment complex Wednesday evening.
According to the Huntsville Fire Department, the fire broke out around 8:30 p.m.at an apartment complex located at 1308 Mesquite Street.
Fire officials say six people were able to escape the fire.
One person was taken to a local hospital and treated for a minor eye injury.
It took fire crews about three hours to put out the blaze.
Officials say two units were destroyed.
As of Thursday morning, crews had yet to determine what caused the fire.
