A local country music station is devoting continuous airtime to raising funds for St. Jude.
Aggie 96 FM kicked off its' annual two-day Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothon.
Station personalities will be on until tomorrow encouraging listeners to call and make pledges that will benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The hospital is renowned for its' research and treatment of cancer and other diseases that affect children.
Country Cares is a national fund-raising event that has 200 radio station partners.
Last year, Aggie 96 helped to contribute to the nationwide grand total of $30 million dollars in pledges.
