A&M Sets Tuition Hearing

A public meeting set for this week is aimed at Texas A&M students, faculty and staff.

It's a public hearing set for Wednesday to discuss A&M's designated tuition for the 2007 fall semester.

Designated tuition is the rate the state allows state universities to set for students.

The designation has been allowed since tuition was deregulated in the 2003 legislative session.

That public hearing is set for 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, in Room 292 of the Memorial Student Center.

Interim President Eddie Davis is expected to preside.
