Authorities in Bryan are investigating an alleged parking lot assault that may have resulted from a maternal mood swing.
Late Saturday night, the 29-year-old male victim says he and his girlfriend were in an argument while driving when he asked to be let out. When he was dropped off at Brazos Bingo, the victim and witnesses say the 30-year-old woman slammed her car into him, sending him onto the hood and then onto the ground.
The man was transported to St. Joseph for treatment, but was later released. Names of the alleged suspect and victim are being withheld.
Bryan Police say he is reluctant to press charges, and attributes his girlfriend's anger to her pregnancy.
